Thomas Earnshaw the flagship English Heritage brand has created a collection of mechanical timepieces in stunning and intricate detail attributed to natural history artist Ferdinand Bauer (1760-1826). Aboard the HMS Investigator his precise works of botany and nature were almost photo realistic in their accuracy and achieved great acclaim in the study of Australia. The Bauer ES-8049 collection features fluid round cases with an exhibition caseback. The slimmest frame marks out the minutes exposing the complex and beautifully machined individual parts. Featuring an Italian leather strap this is truly the timepiece for the connoisseur of horology.
